One of my favourite things about what I do, is showing people how truly beautiful, confident, and fun they can be when they just relax and be themselves.
Often times our self-perception is so skewed by society's/the internet's standards that we can't see how amazing we really are.
Believe it or not, the first thing this couple said when they showed up for photos was that they weren't really cuddly people and they didn't think they were very photogenic. Right away I set out to show them that this was not the case.
As we walked towards our location, we chatted about how they felt and ultimately I just told them to be themselves and I'll do the rest.
They trusted me, opened up, had fun, were silly, and we couldn't be happier with their final photos.
There is no magic formula of how you 'should' look/act/dress to a photo shoot. The key is to show up with and be yourself.
